To qualify for your 'A' license, you may need further skydives until you have 10 stable freefalls of at least 10 seconds all landing within 25 meters of the target. In addition, you will be examined on the rules of parachuting and must be able to pack a main canopy unassisted. Courses start on Tuesdays only and generally take about 10 days to complete, depending on the weather.
Are you a licensed skydiver? We cater for you too!
Licensed skydivers must come in prior to the day of their jump to speak to the Drop Zone Safety Officer. You will be required to bring your log book and all your skydiving licenses. You will also have to visit the drop zone to familiarize yourself with the landing area.
To skydive in Australia, you must be a current member of the Australian Parachute Federation. The APF fee is $25.00 if you are not a member.
Aircrafts in use are Cessna 182 Navajo & Cresco. As a licensed skydiver you will only be taken to plane height. (I.e. if there are 2 Tandem skydivers and one is jumping at 9,000 feet and the other at 11,000 feet, you will be exiting the plane at 11,000 feet.
